I'm looking for a cover for my Ampeg B-100R that I have been gigging with quite a bit lately. Any suggestions for a decent cover for a good price? The diamond blue tolex is not as durable as the black stuff it seems. Has anyone ever made their own amp cover?
  2. I've made several amp and cab covers. If you're handy with a sewing machine, it's easy. I bought the black vinyl from Joannn's Fabrics locally, Hancock Fabrics also carries heavy vinyl.

This site has a good how-to, they used blue denim material:

Tuki covers are great, and offer padded options.

    I think its www.tuki.com or www.tukicovers.com

My opinion, don't do vinyl, do cordura, with a light padding. Vinyl only blocks water, and tears easily. A padded cloth cover will keep your cab looking showroom new, as well as the inside of your vehicle . . .

Thanks Nashville Bill, that site kicks ass
  6. Thanks for the link.
Just got an Ampeg 810 yesterday. Wanted to get something to protect it but obviously didn't want to add any extra weight with a flight case.
Just ordered a padded cover from these guys.
