I need a powered sub to play from 90hz down. I want to run the crossover out my kosmos to it, so it needs to be able to handle some serious lows. The only two I've realy seen so far are the warwick powered sub (which I can't get any info for), and the Yahmaha SW500 (not sure if it goes low enough).

    Anyone have any advice?

    This is mostly PA stuff:
    EBS118, 18C (not powered)
    Yorkville NX series, Pulse210P
Meyer Sound USW-1P 2-15" I've heard there stuff is very well designed and built so I'll guess it's expensive.
I think Mackie might have one.

  3. Yup, the USW-1P is about $3500-4000 US, dealer cost. :D

Turbosound makes one sort of similar, that isn't quite as expensive. Unfortunately any powered sub worth its salt is going to be expensive. You might be better off going for an unpowered 18 (Big Ben, Bagend, etc) and a lightweight power amp.

Thanks for the link. I've already been there however, and they don't post the +-3db.

  7. And +/- 3dB from 30 ~ 300 Hz!

Specs sound very impressive and a fairly good efficiency rating for a true sub.

    How is it priced out?
