Been looking for a better short scale bass, the Stagg Im Playing now has excellent playability but the low string just has a really weak signal. Btw I down tune. I'm looking for something between $500-900. I've got a G and L 2000 and a Music Man Sting Ray both full scale and both of which sound killer, but I have wrist tendonitis. I want the best of both worlds.

If you can find one, try a Reverend Wattplower. They’re very cool.

I have no experience with short scales but the Huntington Supro line looks super cool.

Played the Supro Huntington Single a few weeks ago. The added piezo takes it to a whole different level!
    S900 but worth every penny.
I wouldn't consider any other short-scale, even if someone gave it to me.
Three Huntington models to choose from, but the Huntington III is $1,299.
