    Best for what?

  8. Good question!

My favorites bass heads for my tastes are

    1.) Genz Benz
    2.) Thunderfunk
    3.) EBS

the BEST Solid State rig I could imagine from me would be an Avalon U5 into a Crest C9

If you mean best sounding - Glockenklang Bass Line (Bass Art, etc) hands down. If you mean something else - power, weight.... then maybe something else.

    What are you looking for?

Depends what your taste is, but some contenders are:

    Walter Woods
  12. I've played or owned most of them.

+1 for the Thunderfunk... it should be on the very short list based on power, build quality, features and price/value.

Walter Woods - If you got money to throw around and want something not alot of people have.

Thunderfunk - I got one on the way. Loud, light, versitile

Markbass - Best amp for the money not as many options as the Thunderfunk but it's half the price, half the size, and half the weight. Lots of volume for its size and good tone
