What do you believe are the best strings for tapping? I've been listening to more vic wooten and i'm pretty much dedicating one of my basses to tapping (low action, high pickup etc.)

My guess is thin gauge steel roundwounds. What do you guys think?

anybody have advice on specific brands? there aren't many string manufacturers that sell high C 5-string sets, so i'm wondering if i should go 4 and just buy the extra string. GHS Steels look like the winners so far...

  4. LaBella's Slappers come in 5 string packs with high C.. They are pretty good
