If you could choose any All-Tube bass head what would it be?

I already did, my Classic 400. Not sure it's 'best' but it's the one I chose and I couldn't imagine digging my tone any more than I do now :bassist:

    FWIW, IMHO/E & YMMV

    Gone to a better place
If I didn't have to pay for it:

    http://www.philjonesbass.com/PRODUCTS/AMP/T-500.htm

Or a V8 or similarly expensive and rare amp that I will never actually even see. Something I could sell and pay off my car with. ;)

In reality, my Mesa D180 has caused me to stop looking for amps. I don't regret parting with any of the amps I've owned in the past, it all led up to this one.

    Peavey Classic 400
    Trace Elliot V8
    Marshall VBA400

I'd be happy with any/all of them :smug:

  9. Blonde Peavey Classic 400 with either the matching 410 or 810
