    What do you guys think?

    1)A Roscoe LG-3000
2)A MIM Jazz Deluxe w/ J-Retro, Moses Graphite neck, and possibly Bart 9Js or Lindy Fralins
3)Screw it all and just wait

I'm leaning towards the third choice right now, since I haven't played a 4 in several months, and I'm fairly happy with my P and J basses, though I'll probably put a Moses neck on the P. That Roscoe is so purty, though! And I do think the sound would be quite a departure from my normal 4 sound.

Wait. You've got some pretty nice basses, and the MIM wouldn't be a step up really.

    Definitely wait.

    Or donate it to me.

  4. If you really know where you can get your hands on an $800 Roscoe, you should jump ALL OVER it.

You can always sell it, and actually make some $$ in the deal. . .

Yeah, Mark, it's the Roscoe you saw at work. I guess that's one of the perks of working in a music store! :D The parents should be supplying the V-Bass for Christmas, and about the studio time: I'm e-mailing you right now about that (sorta).
The only reason I'm considering the MIM is because I'm not too thrilled with my Jazz, but my dad won't let me sell it or anything, since it was built one month to the day before I was born.

An $800 LG-3000 in good condition is a pretty good deal. You should at least be able to break even if you had to sell it.

Do you like the MIM Deluxe? Does it play well for you? Or do you prefer the Roscoe?

Get the one you want. As you work in a music store you must have played both plenty of times. Pick the one that speaks to you or save up for something else. Failing that, put it towards your CD.

I would say you could upgrade your amp.

Maybe you are happy with your WM gear, but if you are not, I would say you go for the regular SWR gear unless there is something youd like more.

If that doesnt sound good, how about buying me another Eden 210 XST before the buyout?

    Peace

Are you crazy! Get the Roscoe especially at that price. You won't be disappointed.

A Roscoe at that price is unreal- why would anyone want to sell a Roscoe that bad? Music store or not- believe me.
