    Hey,

I've been unable to get in contact with RT for several weeks and I finally called down to D-Tar in Santa Barbara and was told that Rick has been in the hospital and is recovering from surgery.

Please join me in wishing Rick a very speedy recovery!!

  5. I called last Wednesday and the message machine said he is expecting to be back at work this week. Looks like his website is down as well. http://www.renaissanceguitars.com/ :crying:

    Hiya Steve,

I'm coming back up for air. Had a 3-fer...ganglion cyst removed from my left foot, a vasectomy, and a more complicated herina operation than expected...wound up with a 6" incision rather than the usual 2" number, and today the surgeon told me he'd had to go "way in there" to put in the mesh patch and all that. I'd put it off for so long that, as the surgeon said, "It's a very good thing you did this NOW!"

Anyway, I made it into my shop just long enough today to know it's still there and get some guitars out to Lindsey B., and I should be able to hit it for about 4 hours tomorrow. I hope to add about an hour a day & be up to full time by the middle of next week.

I'm moving off the Vicodin which never gets me high, just a bit sideways; Ibuprofin does help. But in the end, I'm just as glad to have done it all at once, and thank God for icepacks!

Once I catch up a bit, I'll be back at the 'Pit. Feel free to post this message to all the Pitsters and Wallowers in all Things Low.

    My Best,

    RT
