    totally diff than my Zon LW.

    thanks everyone. needless to say, i'm in lowendhebem.

    its a composite material, commonly called graphite.

    this one has the satin finish, of which i am now a huge fan of.

    considering having my other zon neck refinished.

    quick idea, first take...be kind.

    bridge pickup, bass flat, treble flat, mid cranked.

    recorded through my QSC/Aguilar/Bergantino HT112, mic'd with an AKG C456 into a Mackie board into an M-Audio 2496 card.

    ...and what's up with the pickup placement - am I nuts or is the neck pickup a bit further than normal towards the neck? Or maybe it's just cuz I'm so used to my Special with the p'ups both back by the bridge...

    I think that Gard is referring to the fact that you've got one of the most incredible looking Zon's around. That spalt is phenominal looking.;)
