I absolutely loooove my Japanese Boss BF-2 flanger but the buffer is dramatic. My pedalboard is as full as it can be, adding even the tinniest TB looper is impossible so I'm on a quest for a true-bypass alternative, preferably as closest to... I'm currently looking at the MXR Microflanger or the TC Electronic Vortex. Any comments pro/contra on both pedals individually or experiences compared to the BF-2? Much appreciated!
I did the fromel mod Boss BF-2 Flanger Modifications – Fromel Electronics and then I use the pedal with the Xotic x-Blender. Sounds great. I like it so much more than the Vortex.
