    I have a Firebass700, running a 4x10TFX, and 1x15 BxBw.
I found a new Nitro bass head for $149. It is the same as my head except only 400 watts. I was thinking of plugging my bass into the input of the FB (firebass) plugging the high out on the fb into the input in the nb (nitrobass). Plugging the low out into the power amp in on the FB. Then plugging the FB into the 15, and the NB into the 4x10. That way I could get the lows through the 15, and the mids from the 10s. I could alsochange how loud they are compared to each other, and their eq. Does this sound like a good idea? Is it worth the $149? (The Nitro bass usually cost about 3 or 4 times that, and this is a new one.) Another option is to use a power amp instead of the NitroBass. Finally is 700 watts to much for a black widow to handle?
