You know that aquliar ad where the guy has a db750 runnin his highs and he slave outs the lows to a 728.That got me thinkin yah , fast on the highs lil sludge on the lows.

Any body ever experiment with anything like this?

I'd think it would work better the other way. Tight, responsive lows and nice warm and uncrispy highs. :D

You, me, and John Entwistle... :)

I think John is using all SS nowadays, but he still does dirty top, clean bottom.

I can't think of anyone who uses clean highs and dirty lows, but I'm sure it's been done!

Im not really thinkin Dirty lows and clean highs, More like that clean spungy low end from a tube amp that not getting really pushed. The highs would be clean but more importantly fast so there would be a little more pop on the front end of the note.
