Biamping help

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by mark streich, Mar 24, 2009.

  1. Hi I'm using an Ampeg B4R mono bridged into a Gallien Krueger 8X10, but I've heard theres a way to use the pre amp out or the line out to send the signal also to my carvin 18 powered by a behringer head to increase volume, basically using both rigs. Iv'e heard its fine to do im just not sure how to hook up everything. thanks in advance for all your help.

  2. Run a normal patch cord from the line out or pre amp out or effects send to the input of the behringer. If the behringer has a power amp in or effects return that would be better.

edit to point out that this isn't technically biamping, it's just using two amps ;)

  3. You will need an electronic Xover to separate the high and low signals.
