    The situation

    - have an Ashdown MAG810 now
    - been gassing for an NV since I joined TB
    - live in Europe, so they are expensive and hard to come by
    - had my mind set on the 412 because I have 10's now and want more low end
    - play fast paced metal, so quicker tens may be better
    - but I want to fill in under the guitars, not cut through them
    - don't use dirt

I can get a six month old hardly used NV610 for 900 euros, while a new NV412 would cost me 1450.

Tell me I should snag it up before anyone else does!
Tell me the 610 and 412 don't differ all that much, certainly not 550 euros.

12's don't automatically have better low end than 10's. For the price, I'd snag the 610.

As the owner of a NV610, I'd say go for it, you have plenty of low end, I'm very happy with mine ;)

I've neer tried a 412 so can't comment on that one.

I had an NV610 and now own an NV412, the 12's are a little deeper and wider, but there is plenty of low end with the 10's

Yep, Pablo is right. Seek a used NV215 and you will never look back.

It seems the price difference isn't bothering you guys...

And an NV215 used in Europe? That's wishful thinking.

Check again. A new NV 412 (and NV 610) will cost you 1200 pound (including the cover and shipment). At the current exchange rate that is something like 1300 euro.

Wow, things change fast. Just last week 1200 pounds was about 1450.
It's still 400 euros difference though.

I have all three and they all kick ass - get the NV610 and save some coin.
