hi! i got am new amertican big muff some month ago, and been using it with a battery. between the input and the output it has some kind of poewer suppy input, but i never seen one like that. is this for powering the pedal? in that case, do i need a special power suuppy? what voltage/polarity i nned? thancks!
other thing... i just checked out the power supply of my tube zipper, and its AC/AC, which i never seen one before for powering a pedal. that means that i HAVE to use that addapter for the zipper. but the muff let me use a battey so i asume it can be powered with a regulrar AC/DC suppy.
The little headphone jack looking thing is a 9V input. Visual One Spot supports this. It's the same one that the old Tech 21 pedals use. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=bass/search/detail/base_pid/151690/ HTH
hey thancks! i noticed that a regular 1/8 mono plug fits perfectly. so if i want to make my own adapter; which will be the - and which the + ? it is imposible to me to order an adptar cause it cant be shipped to uruguay so im making it myself
sorry to bring this back, but that adapter that syciprider posted..... will that female end plug into my 9v boss daisy chain and let me power my big muff pedal? http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/Visual-Sound-18-1-SPOT-Converter?sku=151690
