Big rig of DOOM!

  1. Hi, before I a had post on my mini rig of doom, Now his "Big Brother" has arrived. Man I wish I still had my Mesa 400+, but this is will do for now....hehe

  7. Oh yeah, and it came with an free ampeg barstool. its pretty comfy. Oh man I wish I still had my G&L tribute. Those pickups would have rocked this cab!!

    Oh yeah and my G&L L2500 sounds great through it. Since I took this picture I've added an Ampeg SVPCL pre amp to the rig. Enjoy your rig.

    Does the SVP-CL make it sound a lot better? I am considering maybe doing that down the road with my svt pro 4.

    Can't say how that will work for your SVT4pro. Every SVT4pro I've heard has sounded just great on it's own. My Ampeg B4r is a solid state amp and I thought I'd ad the SVPCL to add some tube warmth. Glad I did! The SVTCL sounds great. I hope they keep making it for a long time. It's a winner.
