bigest lows

    kind of messed this thread up but
    i need to get p-style pickups with as much low end as possible
    im doing the "bottom 4 string from a five string set" thing
    im lookin to spend 30-40 dollars

    Sorry that I can't answer your question, but I don't think you will find new pickups for 30-40 dollars.

    I could be wrong though.
     
  4. You'll probably need to spend a bit more than that. I would definitely recommend Seymour Duncan Basslines Quarter Pound for P. I have a set of them in my P/J and they fattened up my sound very nicely. I get heftier low end that's still articulate and bouncy. It's fat without being a disgusting wash of mud. I think you'll enjoy them quite nicely.

  7. Try different strings first.

    Look into LaBella Deep Talkin' Flats or similar.
