Okay, so I have decided to go with a head and 2x10 for now, and add either a 1x15 or 2x12 later to beef up. That said, I think I'm down to: GK700RBII plus a 210RBH cab SWR WM4004 plus a Goliath Jr III 210 Both are the same price. This selection is partly because I don't have the cash to go elsewhere brand-wise ATM, but I do have credit at Sam Ash. So which should it be and why? I'm at GK vs SWR because I like clean and punchy, they don't sound sterile to me personally. Also: How does one extract the most watts with extension cabs - is it 2 cabinets run parallel from the back of the head to get the ohms down? do these heads have 2 speaker ports? thx!
Hmm, why not mix the brands? I like that GK head better then the SWR 4004. But I like the Goliath Jr. better then the rbh cab. So out of those choices, I would recommend the GK 700 and SWR Goliath jr.
