Bill Lawrence p46 pickup

Discussion in 'Pickups & Electronics [BG]' started by Andybart, Mar 14, 2013.

  1. I just installed a Bill Lawrence P style pickup in my Fender P/J bass. I really like the tone it has but I can't seem to find any info on this specific one. It's a cream colored blade design which came on another bass body I recently purchased. I'd like to try and find a bridge j pup of the same model if I can find one but it seems the Bill Lawrence website has nothing of the sort that I currently have. Just the standard P46 and the J45. If anybody knows anything about this let me know, I'd appreciate it!

I paid for all my gear myself. Well, me and MasterCard.
If it's a blade style P, it's not from Bill Lawrence himself, but a former collaborator trading on Bill's name. AFAIK Bill has never made a blade style P pickup.

I'm highly opinionated and extremely self-assured
Better yet, Google Bill Lawrence, and spend some time reading the saga, and you'll understand the difference between Bill Lawrence USA and Wilde pickups.
