Billy Squier

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by The Golden Boy, Jan 13, 2005.

  1. Every year we have a big celebration we like to call "Spoof Fest." The premise of the show is 2 nites of rock, of bands and musicians pretending to be bands. So a local group dresses up and pretends to be a "big" band. It's been going on for 10 years or so- and actually the "Beatallica" thing grew out of this. In the past I've been a part of The Cult, CCR, Black Crowes, Sex Pistols, and the Misfits. This year we're tackling Billy Squier.

I've been trying to find out a little more about Billy's bass player(s).

It looks like Mark Clarke has had a pretty good resume behind him with Colisseum and Mountain (filling Felix' shoes!)

I was really surprised to see the resume behind Doug Lubahn. For anything else he did- being the bass player behind the Doors- wow.

Then I was trying to figure out who the 'rockabilly' lookin' guy is who was in all the videos. I've kind of figured it's Kenny Aaronson.

Anybody know anything about Billy and any of his bass players?
  2. I don't, but as far away from Billy's "ripped sweatshirt / rock me tonite" video era as you can stay, the better.

ruined his career, it did. ;)
  3. Exactly why we're going there.
  4. No Billy Squier fans?
