Been trying short scale, but I guess I'm too old school. My guitar players love this Birdsong. Easy to switch back and forth from guitar to bass due to the scale. Probably the best, most even tone across strings of any bass I've had. Big bold passive tone. Using Scotts recommendations, I cleaned, polished and retreated the fretboard. It is really nice.

This is a Birdsong "C" Bass. Short scale (31") bass with the big sound of a Fender Precision. See Scott's video re: how he designed the C Bass and shaped the tone to sound like a vintage p bass. That sounds crazy, but it really does.
Handmade in San Marcos, Texas. These are all pre order custom made basses. Maple neck / maple board (rare on this model) , Alder, string through body, Hipshot tuners , Dimarzio pickup, CTS pots, five bolt neck, 1.5" at nut, very comfy neck shape 17.5mm string spacing, 14" Radius, hand cut tortoise guard and arrow head truss rod cover, hand rubbed natural oil finish. A feather at 6.5 pounds. Great bass in great shape. Still has original Curt Magnum strings on it. Comes with a nice TKL hardshell case. Certificate of authenticity included.

Sale only: $1550 shipped cont. USA, small shipping charge for Canada, Alaska, Hawaii.
