Birth of Valenti Bass #007

    I'm building this bass for customer Jason Myers. This bass is the 1st bass that I'm building for a customer that I is not on one of the discussion groups that I'm a psrt of. The bass features:

    -Alder Body
    -Sherwood Green Finish by Pat Wilkins
    -Maple neck with maple fretboard
    -Black blocks and binding
    -Black hardware
    -HipShot HB-1 tuning keys
    -BadAss II Bridge
    -One Ply Black pickguard
    -Sadowsky HumCancelling pickups
    -Sadowsky Preamp

    Very nice, as always. :) Thought I have to comment - that's the darkest Sherwood Green I've ever seen!

    yummy, I love the look of bound and blocked maple fretboards. I just wish i loved the sound.

    Nice job! The maple neck with black hardware seems to be your thing, I like it!

    And the black binding goes well with it :cool:

    I didn't think I'd like it when you described it, that dark a green with black p/g and black h/w, but as I scrolled down, it grew on me! It looks mean, and very capable of unleashing some serious tone! Nice, I like it! :D

    I still can't love the pickguard. But otherwise by the end of the pics I was coveting it just like every other Valenti I have seen.

    This might sound odd, but I kind of dig the 'Green Lantern' reference. I wonder how hard it would be to make a 'Green Lantern-themed pickguard?
