Black Beauties

    My whole bass right now is black, and I want black strings. Do these come in 6-string packs? Also, are they nice strings? Thank you.

  3. Don't get the rubber-coated kind, not without trying them first anyway. I sat in at a church once (don't laugh) and their bass (Fender P-bass) had those rubbery black strings. It was interesting for about 2 minutes and then I hated it and wished I had normal strings. They just didn't feel like strings should, and I didn't really like the sound I got from them... I don't know if the crappy sound was purely from the strings, but that would be my guess. I've seen normal, bare nickel strings in red, so I'm sure its possible to have "real" strings in black too.

    Black Beauties aren't like that. They feel like normal strings to me. The coating tends to wear quicker than say, an Elixir's would, as well.
