Black block inlays on a P-bass ?

    Nice!

    USA P basses were never sold with block inlays, although I have seen a few that had been fitted with J necks.

    Blocks on a P were never standard, but at least one made it out the door with them, as evidenced in "The Fender Bass: an Illustrated History" by Black and Molinaro.

    I really like that bass in the link. I'm now reacquainted with the GAS I thought was long gone.

    I like it. I would want it with a back or CAR body, both with black pickguards :D
