I have a 70's maple bass neck with black dot fret markers. One of the markers is missing. How can I replace it and where can I buy one? Thanks!

I don't know anywhere that will sell you just one, but you can find them in sets/bags online at various vendors. Stewmac, guitar parts, lmii, etc.

Shape it to fit (with sandpaper or a file) and then glue it in place. You'll need to add the same radius as the fretboard or as close to it as possible before placing it and line it up perfectly, otherwise you'll end up having to radius it to match the fretboard after its glued in. Either way will work, but the second way increases the risk that you will accidentally scrape/sand/damage the fretboard around the dot...
