Black Orpheus

    Here's my adaptation of "Black Orpheus". I recorded my Ibanez SR506 (fitted with EMG's) on two mono tracks with an HP laptop running Cool Edit Pro, so no fancy equipment here. I must say I'm pleased with the results, tone-wise I mean.

    Black Orpheus? Pardon my ignorance but who is that? Im listening to it now. Sounds really really nice. Is that just bass? Sounds like Al di Meola or something like that.
    Really nice...Very relaxing....

    Nice! I dig it. Those Soundgears make great recording basses. I have an SR505 with the stock pups that I bought around 96-97 or so! I've recorded with it and all the engineers commented on the sound of the bass!
