    So cal
I recently swapped out my beautiful vintage white guard for one in black. It really changed the look and vibe of the bass. Show your Black Pickguards! Before and after pics appreciated! 11D0A51C-B59D-4A45-B1AC-E0B8A6E15C7F.jpeg

That is a beautiful guitar! Black is certainly a wonderful match for the body finish. Very classy. I was going to post my Fender Performer Precision with sunburst/rosewood/black pickguard....but it came that way! I've been thinking about a different pickguard but am not sure what would look better. I believe a pickguard is a great way to express your personal taste. I am considering black pearl but I keep looking at that stock issue black glossy pickguard and I just love it.

Here's my black pickguard-equipped basses; but no before/after pics, as they came this way.

The Stingray, however, will be getting something new & more .... red, in the near-ish future :smug:

I’m not sure what color would be better than black on crimson.
And I’m going with sparkle black on oly white for a Tele project.

I suck, but nobody really notices
This kestrel will be here tomorrow. It'll be the only black pickguard that's still black. Black doesn't stay black for very long. But, it sure does look classy til you touch it. O21491-1-1068x1536.jpg
