    Do you know with what kind(s) of effects -if with any- the intro of N.I.B by Black Sabbath is played?
    I just can't seem to get that kind sound.

    You'll need a wahwah-pedal, maybe you can borrow one from a guitarist-friend, and perhaps you need a little distortion also. (I think the sound he has is from an amp that ceased living long ago)

    he doesnt use a wah on that, he just bends the string pretty good.

    The land of chicken fried funk
    Just a percussive sounding bass with some roundwounds and Geezer's kind of slap-meets-pluck technique.

    However, whatever bass he was using, (he had several by that time), for that recording may have been modded as many name bassists were doing at that time.

    I've seen/heard him perform the song live a couple of times. That showed me it just wasn't a studio sound.
