    Hey guys,
For all those who have black Stingrays...
Is this picture from MF accurate in portraying the finish?

Cause I'm seeing a heck of a lot of sparkle in that finish.

If these Stingrays have a sparkle, I might just buy it right now.

Mine has no sparkle at all, but it's a '93.

That does not look like a generic black Stingray. The plain black Rays are indeed plain black -- just like you would expect.

I figured as much. But man after seeing that stock pic, I am gassing for one!

I see a lot of older SR's with this finish. (around year 2000 etc)

Why would they discontinue something as sexy as black sparkle? :(
  10. Sparkles and Metallic finishes are difficult to spray as a practical matter, and although everyone and their Mother loves them now they simply weren't selling very well when offered.

Maybe instead of a black finish, how about this
