I have one and do not feel like I am taking full advantage of it. I do get e-mails and surf the web occasionally but I feel like it's not being put to good use. I actually do have a New York Times application on there that I love that is actually helping me with my college political science class so that definitely is helping me out. Anyways, what cool apps, programs, or additions have you put on this phone?

  2. If it is one of the new ones there is a GPS downloadable app for it.

I've been thinking about this one as my next phone. Why would you recommend it?

It's an awesome phone. I think it's a bit too much for my needs but it definitely is a great phone. When it comes to e-mail and web browsing Blackberry is supposedly the way to go.

Gallien Krueger for the last 12 years!
I got one 2 months before they were released, and for the first 6 months, it was great. After that, I hated it! That little ball stopped being functional after a while. It would work every now and then. I got rid of it, and got a Dash. I love the Dash.

  8. I was also looking at the Pearl, but I couldn't justify spending the $80 a month for my phone:eek: Phone was "free" with a 3yr contract, add your basic cell plans and then you have to add on a "data" plan. Otherwise, it's "per-use' charges for surfing and something like $8 each time I want to use the GPS feature.
I don't have a land line and just use my cell (no telemarketers):hyper:) but that's just way too much

Get a Pearl on T-Mobile. $39.00 per month and an extra $19.99 for unlimited data, texts and MMS. It is the same price for my Sidekick.

  10. I feel the same way. I've had mine since Christmas, and I just don't feel like I'm using all of its abilities. I do have the GPS program though.

I don't have any personal experience with it but I've heard that putting a pearl into your Blackberry can make you feel real nice.
