If in excellent condition, that would be a good deal.

$350 seems to be the going rate for used blacktop guitars. That's 70% of street price. If it's from a store, 350 is a fair price. If it's from a friend... not so much.

It is a MIM Fender after all. The price is good.

New they are going for about $500, so like said if in excellent condition it would be worth it.

thanks guys!!! really helpful info. i played one breifly at a local store and liked the sound. seems decent for a first bass. i've been playing a burrowed made in japan fender jazz that belongs to the guitar player in my band, so i've been lucky enough to have a pretty decent bass to make the guitar to bass transition on (which by the way, i like bass 100 times more and will am definantly making it my main instrument).
