    Do I get a stacked 250k then

    1. Wire one pup to one end of one pot
    2. The other pup to the other end of the other pot
    3. Connect the wipers as the output
    4. Finally wire the remaining contacts to earth.

    Thanks :)

Here's a pic from the Bart site.

You can download a couple PDF docs with more info.

    Thanks for that - I wasn't far off !

I was looking at the EMG site last night and I might get a BQC as it has a balance, vol, bass, treb + parametric all ready to go - just add pups !

Also according to the EMG site, the BQC system is for EMG pups only. If you don't want the EMG pups then you'd have to go with the BTC [concentric bass/trebel] plus VCM [concentric boost/mid sweep]. It'd be like the BQC but without the balance & volume pots.

BTW, I'm thinking about the doing the same.

Ahh well you see the blend pot was for my fretless.

But I'm in the process of specking up a new bass (which was going to have SD pups on it) and I was wondering how to wire it up right - then I found that I could quite easily afford the EMG's so I'm doing that. Which is what my second post was talking about - but my first was about my exisitng bass. Confused ? I know I am !
