I know this probably sounds stupid but I don't know much about wiring.

So, how do you wire a blend pot because as far as I can see a pot only has three little "rungs", sorry I don't know the proper name, while the blend pot I want to wire shows 6 on the diagram.

    blend.

If someone can explain I will be very grateful.

    Thanks

If you bought a blend pot, it should have two "stacked" sets of three rungs. Something like this, when viewed from the side:
    0 0 0
    | | |
    0 0 0
    | | |

If it only has one row, it is not a blend pot, but rather, a traditional volume pot.

Thanks, I haven't actually bought one but I was told that it was a normal pot. So that was wrong.

Are there any other sites that sell good quality blend pots?
They need to ship to the UK.

I'm only asking because I can't judge on the quality myself, thanks.

I'm looking myself... I'll let you know what I find.

The Stew-Mac pot works... I just don't care for the way it works.

I actually stopped using blend pots and installed two volume pots inmy basses. I feel you get more signal when they are all the way up.

Check it with a meter, you don't.

Also your other link about blend pots is wrong, they are full on at center detent, again simply check with a multi meter.

I hear many people talk about the inferior blend pot that's only part way on in the middle. No bass is made that way. Confusing a dual concentric with a blend does not mean blends don't work the way they should.
