  1. CAN ANY ONE WHOSE PLAYED A BLOC B SERIES AMP TELL ME IF THERE GOOD FOR PLAYING FOR GIGS, I AM LOOKING FOR ONE & ITS 117V WITH 150 WATTS. WOULD IT BE LOUD ENOUGH, CAUSE I HAVE ONE AT SCHOOL & I HAVEN'T EVER BEEN ABLE TO CRANK THE SUCKER CAUSE THE TEACHER IS IN THERE.

  2. Welcome to Talkbass eh?! You may want to stop typing in all caps. It is the equivalent of yelling and is harder to read. Now on to the question...
The amp you are talking about is made by Yorkville. For some reason (probably the low price and the fact they are made in Canda) most Canadian high schools have these. My high school had three. Is it the older model with the black vinyl type covering or the carpet cover one? I have a 50B that is a slightly newer model that I use only for private practicing or if I am doing a show gig and need to leave something in the pit as a monitor. For the price they are a decent beginner/entry level amp but you can do alot better.

  3. hay, i have been a member since last year, but thanks for the welcome, your the first to welcome me. the amp is a 100 or 15 i believe with a black covering, it is a new model, can you tell me if they will ever power an extremly loud drummer??

  5. I doubt it.
Sorry about assuming you were a newbie. I saw the CAPS and low posts and thought it said Dec 2001. My mistake.
