Just picked up a hard cover "limited edition" in a half price book store. 8th edition, first one printed, "1 of 50". Has the authors and editors signature on the certificate label. Worth anything? I bought it for 6 bucks. I figure it's not but it looks very official.

You'll need to look it up in the "Blue Book of Electric Guitars Blue Books".

What's a first edition of that worth?

Unfortunately after reading through it I realized it's 10 year old prices are laughable. It says you can get a 70s jazz in fair shape for $1k. I wish :(
