Blue Bossa Bass Player?

    Does anybody know who played bass on the John Coltrane album Black and Blue. Specificaly the song Blue Bossa.

    Well my Penguin guide to Jazz on CD doesn't list "Black and Blue" although it lists a large number of Coltrane albums.

    Is it a live one or a compilation? If you know the date it might be possible to have a good guess - the classic albums were with Paul Chambers, Jimmy Garrison or Steve Davis amongst others on bass - you might have more chance of getting a reply on the Double Bass side of the board?
