All I can say about this is...

WOW! I'm getting GAS attacks from looking at that bass.

It's a blueburst "white-blue"... I do prefer the "black-blue" one like G&L does on its instruments.

looks great, but in order to get one, you have to order it and then they send it to you 6 months later

I have 3 Ricks & just looking at that picture makes me want a 4th. I have a Montezuma Brown 4003 & have to say that RIC has got it going on when it comes to the "Color Of The Year" thing. The only one I didn't really like was Blue Boy, but I'm sure that color has it's fans out there.

    Somebody loan me $1200.

I loved Blue Boy (that was the baby blue, right?) But then again, I cant stand the brown.

As for the blueburst, its looks great, but I couldnt stand buying something and not getting it for another 6 months. On the flip side though, Color of the Year tends to have an extremely high resell value (seriously, you could buy a blue burst for 1200 today and sell it for 1500 in 3 years, used)

That's a nice color. Real nice.

One of the online Ric dealers has a blueburst 4004Cii/5 on order. Should be beautiful (once it sees the light of day!).

I agree, RIC is usually right on the money with the color of the year. My favorite was Montezuma brown.
