Early USA Peavey T-40. In fine shape for a bass of this vintage. Serial dates to '81. Has some mild wear but it seems to have aged better than me. frets/neck are in great shape. Just got it back from my tech (had a new OEM phase switch installed) and the bass is ship shape and ready to go. Very versatile bass. This one has been sitting in the rack for years and the strings are pretty old. Has some lite flaming on the fretboard, back of neck. ships with a bag for $850 conus, obo
Reluctantly trying to get to 20+ basses, so check out my profile for other basses that I don't want to sell.

While these are hard on the body for us older guys, we know how freakin' good they sound and how versatile they are...one of you young Thundercats needs to jump on this one!

Still THE most ahead of it's time bass, ever EVEN by today's standards.
Considering the sky rocketing price of these in the last few years this is a very fair price, too.
    GLWTS Jimmy !!!

I remember seeing these at Leo's in Oakland when I was in college and thinking they were very cool. I wasn't buying anything new in those days. They were definitely ahead of their time. Ross Vallory was a player of one wasn't he?

I’m pretty sure the 0092 serial number, the contoured body and the blade pickups place this guitar into the 1980’s…

Probably 1981 since it has blade pickups with a metal nut. Nice T-40!
