I'm hearing lots of good things about the Lakland Skyline Glaub P. Many say it has the vintage vibe and sound as it is modelled after a 64 P. However, the US Fender 57/62 reissues have a 7.25" radius neck and the Glaub a whopping 10" which along with the oval bridge seems to put it near Musicman Stingray territory. Did P basses ever have a 10" radius? I'm after a good Precision but I do worry that if I get the Glaub whether I'd be satisfied that my quest was over. I've heard lots of P basses but where is the Glaub aimed at? What would be a good track to listen to, to get a feel for the kind of bass sound the Glaub does best? Anybody?
