boiling straings according to 101 bass tips

    Hey everyone, I was reading about how Gary Willis says to boil strings. He says boil strings for 15 mintues does that mean put them in water right away or wait till the water starting boiling then put them in the water?

    I don't think it really matters. I've heard you can add vinegar too, but I usually added dish soap. Now I use Elixirs and I don't have to worry about that anymore!
