I liked this pic that I was just sent from a Bumblefoot show we did in Italy. Posting it at the Ernie Ball forum gave me the idea that it's about time we had a Bongo action shot thread. Break out your pics boys and girls :) .

I think it is a tie as far as ugliness. Let's just say we both look a little unconventional :)!

As far as the rig....I think that was Tim Cole's borrowed WT550, and my old Aggie 212. It has since moved on (as has the bongo), but I liked all those pieces pretty well!

That is one of the Ugliest Basses ever designed. I'm sure it's a good axe but its aweful looking!

I use to think the same thing, but they are starting to grow on me. If you look at it for awhile they really start to look pretty cool.

I was thinking the same thing :p However this thread is giving me GAS for a Bongo. :help:
  14. I didn't like the looks of the Bongo until I saw a photo of one on me.

Does that make me a narcissist?

dancehallclasher you are tinyer than me!! I'm pretty sure that's a spitting image of what I'll look like in the years to come, except with shaggier hair and I'll be thrilled if my beard comes out that full.

It's astounding to think that for the price of his Bongo four-string, we could have bought dancehallclasher approximately 240 nicely decked-out sandwiches. ;)

...and whomever first said that Bongos take on a totally different sense of style when horizontal/strapped on absolutely nailed it. If you don't like the look then, it's your loss. But to write off the killer sound, electronics, and playability before playing one is asinine and a waste of breath.
