My mom watches the Ellen show, and now I have nothing against her think she is quite funny but the show sucks. But anyway, David Bowie comes on and the bassist was using a Bongo bass. Pretty cool sighting.

The Bassist was Gail Ann Dorsey, a well known Music Man user.

And why would you be flamed for watching Ellen? ;)

Bowie's bassist is Gail Ann Dorsey. I caught her with the Bongo on Leno earlier this week. I haven't warmed up to the looks yet, but I have to admit, it had tone for days! ;)

yeah i still think it's not too much of a right looker, but that tone was killer.

Ya know, I never thought Ellen was funny... unless she was doing stand-up routines. On TV, she's just not funny.
  7. The only reason the Ellen show ever got on the air was so that we, all of us here could see and hear that Bongo.

The show has completed its purpose and will now be canceled.

    There's a reason for everything.

I saw it on Leno too. I thought it was ugly as sin, but it sounded great. If they'd only make a 2 HB bass on a standard 'Ray... It'd give my L-2000 a run for the money
