has anyone had experience using the bongo in a jazz group? i have heard that musicman in NOT a jazz bass. i play rock and hard stuff too, but i do play alot of smooth jazz and swing. Is the bongo versatile enough?

Either post this in the Ernie Ball forum or the Musicman section of thedudepit.com and I think you will find your answer very quickly.

Yep, I regularly use both my fretted and fretless Bongos on Jazz/Blues gigs and I have always gotten compliments on my tone.
