Bongo HH vs. Bongo H/SC

    Is there a significant difference/advantage over having a H/SC over the two H pickups?

    Sure, if you like the sound of a single coil in the neck position better than a MMbucker.

    HH is far more versitile and also a little more expensive.

    Having not played bass much yet....could you explain what the difference sounds like?

    hmmmm...this may be a bit confusing but I'l try my best. If all the switches are the same on both models and each pickup is recieveing the same amount of current, the HH will have a bit of a "crunchier," although that's probibly a poor choice of words, and growlier sound while the H/SC will be a bit warmer and rounder sound. Sorry if I tossed you into loops explaining it, hard to turn one sence into another, that's why we're meant to have 5. Maybe someone else can give this a try to give another description.
