Bongo in A, D, G, F.

    Hey everyone! Has anyone strung a MM 4 string Bongo to ADGC? I'm gassing for a Bongo, but have no idea if the factory nut would have to be altered...my initial thought is that it would be.

    No, I don't want to just buy a 5 string Bongo!

    it's the top 4 of a 6-string bass? the overall tension would be similar (3 of the 4 strings are the same, just moved over a slot) and they're all going in slots cut for wider strings, so there's no binding.

    go for it, should be no problem at all.
