boomerang alternative?

    Hey, can anyone recommend an alternative "loop processor" to the Boomerang? I'm looking to cut the cost down substantially, Boomerang's are too much dinero! I understand they are the best I'll settle for 2nd or 3rd best. I need one for practicing and just to create and play some solo stuff......thanks

    Well if you want to cut costs and have a PC try Mobius.
    It's like having 8 stereo EDP's.
    I got rid of a pair of hardware EDP loopers for the software.

    I know there are other options, including claims of using Ableton Live.
