Boss DD-7 Exp Multiple Inputs

Hello! Anyone use a passive A/B switcher to go between tap tempo and another exp input? Want LFO-to-exp control over time/rate, which is a specific setting that the manual says is saved during powering off, but also switching to tap tempo would be a plus. Roland wants a serial number to ask this question, so here I am! Anyone know if this is doable? Thanks.

 

Update: Registered a different Boss product and they were still happy to answer the DD-7 question. Turns out the answer is "kinda." You can definitely do it, but the pedal may glitch out and not "know" what is plugged in. Currently looking at something custom because I believe this can all be done with a couple foot switches.
