Anybody use one? I wonder how it compares to the DL4? I found the DL4 to be a tad sterile, and most BOSS stuff edges towards a little muddy. I have an RC-20 already, which I love, but I want to add some additional loop capability and thought getting some wacked out delays while I'm at it would be a good idea,

Thumbs up. I don't have the DL4, but I just picked up a DD-20 and am happy with the sound quality for both guitar and bass. I don't have any experience with tape delays, so I can't comment on the accuracy of the DD-20's modeling in that regard, but it's an awesome digital delay, as good as you can get in a stombox. There's a tone knob which offers a wide range of adjustment if you're worried about muddiness or sterility.

Thanks! I think I'm going to go with it then!
