Boss DD7 repair/tips question

Hey all,

Long story short, just bought a Boss DD7 off of craigs in a local cash deal and get home and the thing just won't work (yeah, yeah... I know, I KNOW :scowl . It's in really good shape, now has a 9V in it, and won't turn on with a power supply and both input and outputs in.

I know these pedals are built like a tank, but this one has me stumped. The serial code dates to August 2010 as the build date.

Without moving the chip on the inside, it looks completely fine as well. Hardly any dust. The only thing odd was the fact that the female end of the 9V plug under the stomp was bent, but I bent it back and it holds a battery fine.

Anything I can do to try to get this thing working or should I contact Boss and shoot for a repair? I don't really know their policies (or prices....)
