Boss Digital Delay/Reverb

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Diezel420, Sep 17, 2001.

  1. I recently got a fretless and love using reverb whilst recording with it. I LOVE it. I also saw in the Elderly Instruments catalog a Boss Digital Delay/Reverb that sounded really nice. It was not under "Boss Effects for Bass", however, just "Boss Effects". I wanted to know if this type of pedal can be put to good use on a 4-string bass. Would it work?

I have a Boss RV-3 Reverb/Delay pedal. I don't use it in my bass rig (just my guitar set-up), but I have played around with it using my bass and it works just fine :) .

Also, I don't know what Elderly's price is, but Musicians Friend has them on sale for $134.99 (A lot less than what I paid for mine!)

Reverb, not so good for bass, but delay is awesome. What is this "Tone-Suck" that you get from pedals? shouldnt they HELP your tone? Justin from tool uses them out the wazoo.
